Young people today spend significant time online communicating with friends, completing school assignments, and playing games. Much of the emerging digital regulation globally is driven by the desire to ensure minors under the age of 18 are able to access age-appropriate digital experiences and to protect them from a broad range of risks that may be associated with online activity.
